Why Help Support C2C (Camp Second Chance)?

Tiny home communities like C2C make a difference. To learn more about the value of these communities, see the article from Barb Oliver, of Sound Foundations in the link below.  She details the importance of COMMUNITY for bringing people out of homelessness. Through your generosity and involvement, Fauntleroy Church is becoming a vital partner with the community at C2C---and making a difference in their lives.

During the last week of August, Fauntleroy Church provided Camp Second Chance with 11 twin-size fitted sheets (plus a set of fitted/flat/pillowcases); 16 pillowcases; 7 bath towels; 4 wash clothes. Plus Gatorade and canned and dry goods. Through the Homelessness Task Force, Fauntleroy also provided 20 Orca cards, to help residents get to work, visit family, and manage their lives. Our neighbors at C2C are so appreciative of your incredible generosity and support.

With cooler temperatures coming, C2C residents would greatly appreciate blankets and comforters, as well as clothing such as shirts and sweaters (men's and women's, M-XL) and men's shoes (sizes 8-14). They also need power drinks (Gatorade, etc). See the full list at the link below.

The people in this community (50+ persons) are on a journey toward independence and self-reliance. You make a difference in their lives through your loving donations and involvement.

THANK YOU.
