Memorial Services

When someone we love dies, we believe having a time to mourn, remember, and commit that person into God's eternal care and keeping is very important. Fauntleroy Church is a meaningful place to have a memorial service, whether the person who died was a member of this congregation or not.

Please contact our office at (206) 932-5600 to begin to make arrangements. One of our pastors will meet with the family and/or other loved ones, listen to the story of the deceased's life, and put together appropriate readings, a reflection, and prayers. Personal storytelling and remembrances may also be part of the service. Our music director has a wide repertoire of piano music on which to draw for the occasion. If you like, she can also help you select a soloist or incorporate a vocalist or musician close to the deceased.
