Adult & Intergenerational Programs
We believe that followers of Jesus should never stop learning about what is required of them - what seeking justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with their God means in our complex lives and world. We also believe that some of the most engaging programs and joyful moments happen when generations interact.
Adult education: At Fauntleroy Church, adult education happens regularly on Sunday mornings and through periodic study series and guest speakers. On Sunday, adults meet virtually around an electronic study series about books of the Bible, the prophets, world religions - whatever participants are interested in pursuing. Other opportunities range from discussing an “all-church read” in small groups to learning about an emerging social issue over lunch after worship. Read about what’s coming on our blog or at Events.
All-church camp: In the spring, children, youth, adults, elders, singles, and doubles head to the YMCA’s Camp Colman on the Kitsap Peninsula for a weekend chockful of activities. Boating, rock climbing, archery, crafts, the GIANT swing, and festive meals are on the list, as are evening campfires and Sunday worship. Whether you come for the weekend or just for Saturday, you’ll cherish the experience.
