Our Homelessness Task Force has devised a way for us to share the joy of this season using a safe approach to our traditional giving tree. By donating the amount on a “tag” of your choice, you will be helping someone in need and you may use your donation as a “gift from the heart” for a loved one.
Simply select the gifts you wish to give at https://forms.gle/S84acrLSww4JCazh8 and pay for them using the “GIVE TODAY” tab at www.fauntleroyucc.org. Or you may select and pay for your gifts by mail.
You’ll find these “tags” on our virtual giving tree:
$10 bag of age-appropriate, fun gifts for a child attending the Saturday Welcome Table free lunch in White Center (goal: 50)
$25 Safeway gift card for a low-income family at Highland Park, Sanislo, or West Seattle elementary school (goal: 50)
$35 electric blanket to warm a resident of Camp Second Chance (goal: 55)
$50 for nails, roofing, and other components for a tiny home
When you make a gift, we’ll send you a sheet of cards you may print, cut, fold, and give to loved ones to say “A gift was made in your honor…” The sheet will have one color card and one you may color as you like. These cards will also be available at the wreath pick-up on Saturday, Nov. 21, 9 am - noon in the church parking lot.
Need to participate by mail? Call Jackie Gould in the church office (206-932-5600, ext. 310) to have the selection form and any number of cards mailed to you. Complete the form, enclose your check, and mail it back to the church.
Online payment or payment by check must be received by 5 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
