CROP Hunger Walk Week Kicks Off Today!

Get ready, get set, GO! Today kicks off our week of virtual CROP Hunger Walks. Between now and October 10th, we encourage participants to walk at a place and time that works for their families or COVID bubble. We have 31 people signed up so far and have room for everyone to join. No matter where we walk or who we walk with, we’re all on the same team!

Did you know that CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk events held in cities and towns across the United States, raising funds to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster? Did you also know that twenty five percent of the funds raised are returned to the host community to support local hunger fighting efforts? If you can’t walk with us this year, consider sponsoring our team with a donation so that we can support the good work of Church World Service. Online donations strongly preferred. If you cannot donate online, checks can be mailed to the church or dropped into the offering plate Sunday mornings. Please write “CROP Hunger Walk” on the memo line.

Register or Donate today at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2021/team/fauntleroy-church-ucc!
