Soon you will receive in the mail your annual packet of information from the Stewardship Committee. This year’s campaign theme is “Together in Spirit”, which reflects our experience in this pandemic time. Over the course of the past year we have followed the Spirit – adapting and connecting in new ways, despite the physical separation. As we look ahead, we can imagine gathering together again, in both our traditional and in new ways, like streaming our worship to those beyond our sanctuary doors who have extended our welcome and sense of community.
Our annual Stewardship Campaign intends to provide you with the information you need to prayerfully consider an annual financial pledge to the church. Pledging enables our staff and committees to build a budget and plans for our ministries. Because our spring calendar is compressed and we want to plan a careful transition back into our beautiful sanctuary, we encourage you to pledge early so that we can get a clear picture of all that’s possible. In addition to the information in the packet, articles, and Sunday stewardship speakers, we encourage you to tune in after worship on May 2 to ask your questions of our church treasurer Jeff VanGilder. Giving Sunday will be May 16, and we look forward to that Sunday being a special celebration of the faith and generosity of our church family.
