Thanks to the generosity of many in the congregation, residents of Camp Second Chance now have plenty of bath towels to use when they shower in the camp's new hygiene center. Our Homelessness Task Force delivered two big bags of towels, with more in reserve when needed. The hygiene center has four showers/toilets/sinks to serve residents of the camp's growing number of tiny homes.
Last week, 4 residents were the first to get new shoes, courtesy of your donations through our Advent giving tree and a steep discount by Big 5 Sporting Goods in Westwood Village.
