Focus on the upcoming art show Anna Sparks is a mixed-media artist, designer, photographer, and all around "arranger" of things. She will be showing and selling pieces that combine paint, photos, fabric - whatever she has collected that will tell a story or document the environment around her in a one-of-a-kind way.
Other new artists to the show this year: Jennifer Forland, who will have Chou enamel/silver jewelry, and Meryl Sidikman, who will have mixed-media paintings.
After a stint as our youth director, Kristen Miller pursued artistic crafting while caring for daughter Charlotte. She will make her debut appearance at the show with several items, including shadowboxes featuring rolled paper flowers, wooden welcome signs, and quilted baby blankets, throws, and soup-bowl holders.
Other new artists to the show this year: Rhonda Porter, who will have acrylic paintings, and Chloe Choe, who will have sea-glass and pressed-flower jewelry.
