All Saints Day - November 1, 2020

Nov. 1 All Saints Day On November 1st, we’ll take time in worship to remember those saints who have passed in this last year. Usually we lift up the names of members of the church, but this year we would also like to extend our remembrance to family members beyond our church. The pandemic has made it difficult to be with loved ones, to feel the supportive embrace of community in times of grief, or to have a sense of closure from the rituals that reassure us in our loss. We cannot recreate those individual moments, but on All Saints Day, we can remember that a tender embrace is truly around us all.

If you have lost someone you love this last year, you are invited to send a photo and a couple sentences we could share about your family member to Pastor Karyn at Karyn@fauntleroyucc.org . We’ll need photos by Wednesday, Oct. 28, so that we have time to prepare a presentation that will be offered in our prayer time.
