Five months into the pandemic, it became time to acknowledge and embrace our new way of being church together on our church website. The website got a facelift at the beginning of September, and we are thrilled with it!
The church website looks great, is easy to navigate, is welcoming to visitors looking to get to know us, and is providing a single place to find out much of what’s happening in the church.
We’d like to thank Pastor Leah, Pastor Karyn, Bron, and Judy P for writing new content for the website. A big thanks to Jackie for transforming our newsletter, “The Congregator”, into a blog format. It was no small feat to make the switch, and she was extremely patient as we got it all sorted out. We couldn’t have done it without the help of Robin VG, who spent time helping Jackie learn the Blog, with patience and quiet support whenever asked. And, during her moments of panic and frustration, he was the voice of calm, helping with a sense of humor and compassion. And, we’d like to extend a vibrant round of applause and appreciation to Yessika for redesigning the website to look and react the way it does. She took our non-technical vision and made it happen even better than we imagined. Finally, thanks to Sarah A, who coordinated the project and provided instructions to all of us at various times. She was another calm and patient instructor, responding quickly for calls of help, many times over. It really was a team effort!
Check it out, it’s a momentous step into future communications for Fauntleroy Church.
