Sunday Morning Virtual Worship - November 1, 2020 - All Saint's Day and Communion

This Sunday is All Saint’s Day. Along with having your communion elements on your end of Christ’s table, we invite you to have a candle close by. We’ll light them as a blessing in every home for those who have blessed us. During worship, we’ll lift up the names of members of the church who have passed in this last year, and we’ll extend our remembrance to family and friends beyond our church. If you have lost someone dear to you this year, you are invited to send their name and/or a photo to Pastor Karyn at karyn@fauntleroyucc.org. Please send these as soon as you can and include a few sentences about your loved one so that we know a little about what they have meant to you. The pandemic has made it difficult to feel the supportive embrace of community in times of grief or to have a sense of closure from the rituals that reassure us in our loss. We cannot recreate those individual moments, but on All Saints Day, we can remember that God’s tender embrace is truly around us all in this community.
